One bolus composition: Oxyclozanide 600 mg and Levamizole Hydrochloridum 300 mg and excipients: Lactose monohydrate; Povidone, Talc, Magnesium stearate and Aerosil 200.

Indications:

For the treatment and prevention of chronic fasciolosis and paramphistomatosis, gastro-intestinal and pulmonary nematode invasions in large and small ruminants: cattle, sheep, goats, etc. Removes mature and developing immature forms of nematode species.

The product is effective against the following parasites:

Practically acts 100% on Fasciola spp. located in the biliary tract of the liver. Destroys mature forms of Paramphistomatomum spp .;

In the rennet: Haemonchus, Ostertagia and Trichostrongylus spp .;

In the gut: Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, Oesphagostomum, Chabertia and Bunostomum spp .;

In the lungs: Dictyocaulus spp .;

It is effective against immature and adult Ostertagia and in the treatment of Type II ostertagiasis in cattle; is not effective in the inhibited Ostertagia larvae (Pre-type II Ostertagiasis) in cattle, and therefore may require subsequent follow-up treatment. In sheep, it is usually effective against the inhibited / immobilized larvae of Haemonchus, Ostertagia and Trichostrongylus axei.

Levamizole is also used as an immunostimulant to enhance immune defenses in viral infections and chronic recurrent diseases. It appears as an effective alternative treatment in cases of advanced resistance to other chemically unrelated anthelmintic products.

These effects are sometimes exacerbated in animals with severe hepatic impairment and / or dehydration during dosing.

Animals rarely show any side effects at normal Levamizole dose levels. The effects of Levamizole overdose are transient and include head shaking, salivation and mild muscle tremor, and are more common in cattle than in sheep.

Use during pregnancy and lactation:

The product can be applied to young and pregnant animals. The physical condition, especially of any animal in advanced pregnancy, and / or stressed by meteorological conditions, malnutrition, limited space in the pen, poor care, etc. should always be given priority.

Overdose

Overdosage results in slowness, some softening of faeces in sheep and sometimes diarrhea, constipation and weight loss in cattle. These effects are exacerbated in animals with severe hepatic impairment and / or dehydration during treatment. Atropine may be used as an antidote if necessary.
